A Long Time Coming

From the beginning, we never saw ourselves as the long-term owners of this work. Our goal was always to plant something strong enough that the local community could eventually lead it.

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Roatan Baseball Academy (RTBA), an organization led by local Honduran coaches and community leaders.

A Turning Point

This partnership represents a turning point. Instead of a program run primarily by visiting volunteers, baseball development on Roatan is now being led from within the community itself. In a place surrounded by beauty, many children still grow up with limited spaces, opportunities, and activities that truly help them stay focused, inspired, and connected to something positive. Roatan Baseball Academy was created to change that.

More Than Baseball

RTBA is more than baseball. It is a safe space where young athletes across the island can grow, stay active, build discipline, create friendships, and believe in a bigger future for themselves. For many of these kids, the academy becomes family, motivation, structure, and hope. What started as a passion for the game is slowly becoming a movement for the next generation. Every child who steps onto the field represents the possibility of a better future, not only in sports, but in life.

Where We Are Today

Today, RTBA is working to create lasting opportunities for children and families across the island while dreaming even bigger for the future of baseball in our community.

Together, we are working to:

• Strengthen local coaching capacity

• Expand access to training for young athletes

• Improve field conditions and equipment availability

• Create structured pathways for athletic and academic growth

• Build a sustainable, locally-led baseball ecosystem

What began as a volunteer-led Little League program has grown into something much bigger than us: a locally driven movement where Honduran coaches, leaders, and athletes are now taking the lead in shaping the future of the sport on the island.

Today, we are proud to stand alongside the Roatan Baseball Academy (RBA) to continue growing baseball in a way that is sustainable, community-led, and built to last.
